These socks actually got done two days ago, but I forgot to post until today. These are plain vanilla socks, with yarn from Old Rusted Chair in the color Devil’s Details. Love the yarn, loved knitting such simple socks. I finished them one night while watching a movie and immediately put them on because my feet were cold. I might have worn them for the next 36 hours.
They are good socks. The other photo is what happens when I sit down to try to take a picture of my feet: I get “helpers”!
I have one more WIP on the verge of becoming a FO, and I’ve got the second worsted sock in progress too. I’m hoping to get lots of knitting done this weekend; how about you?
Those are great socks. You can’t beat a plain vanilla sock.
I love them! They look so warm and cozy! 🙂
Your socks turned out great!
Thanks!
Great socks! I hope you got the lots of knitting time that you were planning on over the weekend. I know I did: I finished up the second mitt in a plain vanilla pair I started a short while ago, and I got a lot of knitting done on my cardigan. I’m hoping to have that finished this month… possibly even by the halfway point of the month! It’s a nice combination of easy knitting (I have the pattern memorized) and complicated knitting (there is a pattern to work, plus I have to remember to do the sweater shaping) which makes it perfect “crazy time” knitting.
Thanks! Sounds like you’ve got the perfect projects for the times right now. I got sidetracked a little bit so I didn’t get as much knitting done as I wanted, but that’s okay, there’s always next weekend!
These projects are working for me right now, anyway! I have a much more complex shawl that I want to start, but I’m making myself finish something (or more) before I can start it.
I love 4-legged knitting helpers. Beautiful socks!
Great socks and helpers
