I sat down to knit last night and realized that there was a big gaping hole in my WIPs. I currently have two in-the-round stockinette projects, and two simple socks. That’s it. Now, those are very nice projects and I like them, but what happens when I want something more interesting, more engaging? I got nothin’.
Fortunately, that’s easily remedied. After a little bit of time on Ravelry, and a little bit of time digging through my stash, I’ve got a new project ready to cast on.
I was kind of saving the green (MadTosh in Seaglass) for a fade project, but it looks so good with this mystery gray/green that I’m willing to make the sacrifice. Plus, heck, I can always get another skein of Seaglass green someday if I need it. This one is going into a pretty two-color shawl called Spring Rain!
Oh that is going to be a stunning shawl. How do you store all of your shawls?
Thank you! I’ve been meaning to do a blog post about shawl storage because I’m struggling with it–think I’ll do that today!
Oooh! Nice!
That yarn combination is scrumptious. I think it was a great choice to use the green.
I think so too! This is going to be my obsession project, I think.
I neeeeed some seaglass right now.
Right?? It might be my favorite non-purple yarn!
You need some lace, well, here you are:

Happy upcoming weekend!
Lovely yarn combo! I recently cast off my shawl WIP, and have been itching to cast on a new one. I have plenty of more intricate projects right now, though, so I’m going to try to refrain. We’ll see…
Good luck with that! For me, when castonitis hits, it hits hard!
Thanks, I’m hoping I can at least stave off startitis until I have the Minstrel Sweater finished!
That green is gorgeous I can’t wait to see what your project is!
