This morning, I spent some time in my craft room. I missed my yarn stash. I admired my beautiful yarns and wished I had time to knit all the things right now. Since that’s not possible, I settled for pulling out a few of the skeins I want to knit with soon after Christmas and getting them wound and ready. I’m picking based on the yarns, not the projects or the people. Just the yarns that are calling to me. I can’t wait.I’ve got some Berroco Borealis in there, some Manos del Uruguay Maxima, some Skacel Simpliworsted, and two Nerd Girls Yarns. See that blue and green back in the corner? Yep, that’ll be first.
What about you? What are you looking forward to making after the holidays?
Bonny, I bought a purple snood at the Franklin School Show in October and would like to buy two more – teal and black. I live in the Northland. Do you have anything left?
Hi Marcie, you mean the one with the furry edge? If so, I have a cream one left. I do have the yarn to make a black one and can look for teal. If you’d like, send me an email at bonnymoseley@yahoo.com and let me know when you were hoping to have them. I could get the black one done by Christmas but I’m not sure about a second. Thanks for finding me!
If you’d like to see what I have already made, you can go to http://www.facebook.com/bonnyknitsforyou and look for the album titled Items for Sale. Thanks!
I completely relate to what you’re saying here! I’ve been so busy doing other, necessary things that I’ve put off some things I really enjoy. For me, I can’t wait for some quiet time to warp my loom and get weaving!
Yes. As much as I love the holidays and seeing family and having big get-togethers, it’s so lovely to reach the quiet time after!
